The Kigali Global Dialogue, 2022 is an invite-only conference, scheduled for 10-12 August, 2022. As such, members of the media will receive invitations from the organisers. Representatives from media interested in covering the conference are requested to write to


The Kigali Global Dialogue will be held in Kigali, Rwanda, at the Kigali Marriott Hotel.

Media will have access to all public sessions, however, closed-door sessions will not be accessible to the media. Invite-only sessions will be accessible only upon special request.

The full agenda will be made public three days prior to the conference. Please keep in mind that session timings are subject to change.

Camera risers and audio output will be available in the rooms where public sessions will be held. These will be available on a first come, first served basis. Please note there will be a specific spot reserved for the organisers’ cameras. There will be open, designated zones in the foyer area where the media can conduct public interviews. Please contact the organisers for prior permission and interview scheduling. Please be mindful and brief while using these spaces.


All members of the media are bound by the Kigali Global Dialogue Charter of Participation. The Charter of Participation is available on the Kigali Global Dialogue website. If any members of the media are found in violation of conference rules, access may be revoked.

We expect the media to be transparent and accurate in its reporting of conference events. Media is expected to report only on active sessions and discussions, and mutually consented interviews.

For all media coverage during and following the conference, “The Kigali Global Dialogue” and its hosts, “The Observer Research Foundation”, “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Rwanda,” “Rwanda Convention Bureau,” and “The Observer Research Foundation America,” must be acknowledged in full.

No media house can commercialise any video, stills, or photos taken at the Dialogue.
