
Anirban Sarma is a Senior Fellow at ORF. His research focuses on media, ICTs, and technology-enhanced learning.
Anirban earlier worked at the National Digital Library of India, a flagship project of the Ministry of Education; and at UNESCO, where he served for over eight years designing and managing UNESCO’s initiatives on media development and access to information across Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
Anirban was awarded the Inlaks Scholarship, 2007, to pursue masters in media and communications at the London School of Economics. He was previously a double gold medalist in English literature at Jadavpur University.
