
Antara Vats is Junior Fellow at ORF’s Centre for Security, Strategy and Technology. Her research focuses on developing governance frameworks for the ethical development and deployment of emerging technologies like quantum computing and AI.
Prior to joining ORF, Antara was a research analyst at CyberPeace Foundation, where she published policy response papers on national science, technology, and innovation policy, non-personal data governance framework, and blockchain strategy in India. Antara conducted expert panel discussions, addressing the online safety of women, and published a policy brief proposing responses to tackle online gender-based violence in India.
Antara is the Executive Lead at Strategy and Partnerships at AI Policy Exchange — an emerging global network of AI professionals, policy researchers and practitioners.
