
Gopalika Arora is an Associate Fellow at the Centre for Economy and Growth in New Delhi. Her primary areas of research include Climate Finance and Energy Transitions – focusing on analysing the international finance structures that can be made responsive to investments in clean energy infrastructure as well as India’s domestic financial market that can encourage private capital investments in renewable energy projects.
Prior to joining ORF, Gopalika was an Assistant Manager with a leading environmental advisory firm. She has worked extensively in the areas of climate change adaptation, climate finance and policy solutions at national and sub-national level. Her areas of interest also include supporting an inclusive and low-carbon transition for vulnerable economic sectors and exploring the role of carbon pricing instruments in India. She graduated from TERI School of Advanced Studies with a Master’s degree in Economics.Expertise
